Today I had the opportunity to quickly reunite with a long lost friend!!! The last time we had seen each other neither one of us had children!
Almost 6 children later…we finally met up for a fun shoot in the woods!

At the end of every summer I get really excited for sweater weather! Well this fall has felt more like parka weather!
Fortunately the day I took these photos the air was crisp and it truly was sweater weather!
I always try to get at least a shot or two in during a shoot that includes mom. More often than not its the mom who is never in the photos! Instead mom is the photographer snapping away during birthday parties or vacations trying to capture all the fleeting moments of their child’s life. Moms...

I LOVE red gingham! So this umbrella screamed at me and really inspired me to finally grant my daughters’ wish for umbrellas!
I am so glad I did!!!
For weeks my girls have been asking for umbrellas. So when I ran across the perfect umbrellas I couldn’t resist!
